Needing a victory to stand a chance of advancing into the knockout stages, our water polo guys came with a substitute. Hall 11 came with 3 substitutes, featuring among them a few experienced players.

The odds were firmly stacked against us but we showed great fighting spirit and determination to come back from 2-0 down.
Outnumbered? So what?
With fewer reserves and the match going the distance, our players soon suffered from fatigue with Mark experiencing muscle cramps at the start of sudden death extra time.
Could this be our moment?
Moments later, Hall 11 capitalized on our numerical disadvantage and proceeded to score the winning goal.
It was an undoubtedly tough match but fought with traditional Hall 4 fervour. Although we lost to Hall 11 4-3 in the end, our players know they can walk away with their heads held high.
You can't fault our desire to succeed.
