So here it is, let us embark on the post-commentary of the first match for our hockey men at NIE field today at 1300 with clear blue sky and ludicrous humidity as usual. In the above photograph we have Hsi En looking all geared up & good to go for the game of Hall 4 vs Hall 5! Cheer on fellas.
"You will mark those 2 guys, Kelson, come with me, Ken yee you be playing forward.. so here's the tactic." - Daniel (the one with fingers up)
Well, every field game requires tactics, strategies and what nots so that nobody messes up anything, right? As the rumour has spread that not all of the ohmers in the team today play hockey, some have to learn quick skills on the spot that will at least make them look cool in the field. Remember, please do not apply this on your studies, that means you, dear fellow hall 4 ohmers.
"Steeeaaddyy.....steeeaaaddy....", just like Homer Simpson, we see a spectacular pose of Daniel focusing on his magnificent stride for a long shot. As to whether is it a killer one, you have got to ask the man yourself. The match went well for the first few minutes until the ugly swooping shot from Hall 5 got passed our goalie. Bang! 0-1. The players must have felt bad seeing not alot of hall 4 supports were down to cheer them on. Where's the spirit?Nevertheless, Hall 5 sealed the deal by hitting another shot at the very last few minutes of the 2nd half. Score: 0-2. But all is good, nobody's injured(unlike Hall 1, forgot to mention that a guy sprained his ankle just like 5 second after the kick-off?) At least our team has made an effort considering the team has few trainings and never played as whole before. No cries. That's all for today."You will mark those 2 guys, Kelson, come with me, Ken yee you be playing forward.. so here's the tactic." - Daniel (the one with fingers up)
