A Rollercoaster Ride..

We could not ask for a better start during our first takraw match against Hall 5 as Damien, Kelson and Ken Yee romped to a convincing first set victory. The second regu which consisted of David, Yong Hwa and Jia Hong began well, seizing the early initiative to take an early lead only to let it slip by. Confidence seemed to ebb away as Hall 5 took over the lead and eventually the second set. The deciding set was another close affair as the third regu of Hong Ming, James and Leon traded blows point for point with our opponents only to succumb 21-16. Although we ended up at the wrong end of this rollercoaster ride, the enemy seemed to be ourselves rather than our opponents as we were not on top of our game. We shall not be dampened by this failure and rest assured, we will make this a successful failure! Looking on the bright side, our resident president Gary has volunteered to join our team! I am sure his aura/presence alone will be a big boost to our team.
