Ready. Aim. Strike!

The noise and buzz in hall 8's function room was unmistakable, and could be heard from quite a distance away, as all the halls prepared to duke it out on the carrom boards. Despite that, it was mostly a relaxed atmosphere where opponents chatted with each other between games, with the games moving at a leisurely pace.

There were many shots taken during the games, some good, some bad, some just funny, and many earning the attention of the umpires for fouls, but as our players were just here to have some fun while engaging in the spirit of competition for the pride of hall 4, all that mattered at the end of 2 long days of competition was that everyone had a good time.

Here are some pictures of our team in action.

As evident from the pictures, our players gave their all, focusing hard while playing their games. Unfortunately though, they were no match for the superior carrom players from other halls. Upon concluding the 7 preliminary rounds, the Hall 4 team lost 6 of them while notching a lone victory against hall 16, and were unable to advance to the semis.

The team's spirit and commitment deserves to be commended though, and Hall 4 is proud of them for making the time to come down and make our hall's presence felt in the event, and for being sporting players.

The Hall 4 Carrom Team!
