Ole!

It was a narrow victory for Hall 4 as our soccer heroes triumphed over Hall 8 1-0. In a match that could have gone either way, Hall 4 were lethal in front of goal and made the most of their goal-scoring opportunities. Playing on a muddy and wet field, Team Hall 4 smartly adapted to the playing conditions by employing long-ball tactics which disrupted the opposition’s flow of play. After a couple of chances, Hall 4 earned a free kick in front of the halfway line. Dead ball specialist Weisheng then launched the ball into the penalty box in which Ziyang connected by cooly smashing a sweet volley into the bottom right corner of the goal. Chances came and went for both sides.

In the second half, Hall 8, in an attempt to equalize, began to throw more men forward. However, through sheer determination and concentration, our defence managed to hold firm and keep Hall 8’s men at bay.

Hall 4 held on to a well-deserved victory at the full time whistle, final score 1-0.
