Brilliant minds from all halls gathered once again at Hall 8's multi-purpose hall (MPH) to battle against each other to decide who deserves the title of scrabble champions.
As I stepped into the MPH, the podium was already filled with an array of blue jerseys carrying hall 4's crest. This was no surprise as the privilege of convening this year's scrabble competition belongs to us. With the presence and support of so many ohmers, our scrabble warriors were determined to bring glory for Hall 4.
Unfortunately, we faced tough opponents today and suffered defeats for the first four rounds. We almost snatched victory against Hall 16, only to lose narrowly by 1 game. Despite the disappointment, our players did not lose heart and achieved a wonderful result in the fifth round by defeating Hall 14. This will prove to be a great morale booster for the team as it prepares itself for rounds 6 and 7 tomorrow.
